(no subject)

And I thought my world couldn't get any weirder. I guess being from a television show makes a disturbing kind of sense, though. Only Hollywood could come up with some of the stuff you see in Neptune.

A little notice would've been nice, though. Dropped into the biodome without a change of clothes. And more importantly, my computer. This one is okay, but weak in comparison even if it's a "shiny new laptop from the future." The RAM is probably half of what my MacBook Pro had. I see a shopping trip for things besides clothing in my near future.

These computers are weak? I don't really know much about them, it's all kind of new.

Oh. I've never had a computer before. What's Macbook pro and ram?

Oh, you know. A little of that Cindy charm and they'll probably give it to you for free.

Funny.

When did you get here, why did it take you so long and please, say you brought my GPS tracker.

[identity profile] detectflaws.livejournal.com 2008-01-08 07:09 am (UTC)(link)
I've been here nine months, actually.

When did you just see me?

[identity profile] adeeperforce.livejournal.com 2008-01-08 07:13 am (UTC)(link)

I think I understood maybe half of that.

[identity profile] copier.livejournal.com 2008-01-08 07:21 am (UTC)(link)
Depending where you come from, these computers really suck.

[identity profile] adeeperforce.livejournal.com 2008-01-08 07:24 am (UTC)(link)
Where I come from there weren't any computers. I'll take your word for it.

[identity profile] detectflaws.livejournal.com 2008-01-08 07:25 am (UTC)(link)
Yeeeah, you'll find not a lot of people are obeying the rules of the dome. Surprise surprise.

Huh.

[identity profile] copier.livejournal.com 2008-01-08 07:26 am (UTC)(link)
None? Wow.

The computers here just seem so...stupid. Horrible AI. :(

[identity profile] detectflaws.livejournal.com 2008-01-08 07:34 am (UTC)(link)
Nope.

[identity profile] adeeperforce.livejournal.com 2008-01-08 07:35 am (UTC)(link)
Well, it was 1960. I had a typewriter.

[identity profile] detectflaws.livejournal.com 2008-01-08 07:36 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe you'll get lucky and Dick will claw his way in.

[identity profile] copier.livejournal.com 2008-01-08 07:36 am (UTC)(link)
wow um. That's pretty old!

[identity profile] adeeperforce.livejournal.com 2008-01-08 07:37 am (UTC)(link)
It's probably me.

[identity profile] detectflaws.livejournal.com 2008-01-08 07:38 am (UTC)(link)
You'd get to see him breed. And then probably torn apart by all of the mothers.

[identity profile] adeeperforce.livejournal.com 2008-01-08 07:49 am (UTC)(link)
I guess it is now.

[identity profile] nedmakespies.livejournal.com 2008-01-10 01:06 am (UTC)(link)
I'm from a television show, too. Or at least, that's what they tell me. Between you and me, sometimes I think they might be lying about that. Of course, I don't know why they would lie about it, but you never know.

You're from Neptune? As in the planet? Were you on a sci-fi show? I used to watch sci-fi shows back on my...um, show, I guess. That's creepy to think about, isn't it?

My name is Ned, by the way. What's yours?

[identity profile] nedmakespies.livejournal.com 2008-01-10 09:45 pm (UTC)(link)
I came from a show called "Pushing Daisies," apparently. I think they were trying to be clever because of my um...talent. I touched murder victims and brought them back to life so that my friend Emerson (who was a P.I.) could ask them who killed them and solve the crimes and collect the reward money.

Strangely enough, my special "skill" is not the weirdest thing here, so. At least there's that.
