So I've learned a few things. Okay, ready?

1. I thought the food in Tokyo 3 was bad, at least there were some classy restaurants. Here? Nothing. A few choice bars, but no where nice to eat. I think it comes with the Apocalypse thing. Something happens, and then, hey, the food sucks. There's not much I can do about that, except for hope with a salad with something other than iceberg lettuce; and some sushi without farmed fish. And I'm still at a serious lack of instant food. Pen Pen won't even eat the anchovies I got for him.

2. Has anyone else noticed that it's really hard finding the obligatory "little black dress" here? Or am I just looking in the wrong places?

3. You never know who'll show up! Not the people I would have hoped, but it's nice to see some cheerful faces once in a while. Even if I don't know a lot of you, and it sounds a little dumb, it's nice to see a few people happy once a while. Things aren't so bad here, believe me, they could be much worse. (But I shouldn't say that because then they will get worse, right?)

School's going good. Some of the stuff is from my first year in the university so it isn't bad. I have a feeling it's going to get a lot harder.

They're thinking of expanding the menu at Swayze's now that we have more customers. Any recommendations for things you'd like?

I could go for some good ramen. I'm usually not a ramen girl, but it's one of those little things that you miss once you don't have it. My roommates and I used to order out a lot, and there was a little place around the corner that made the cheapest ramen, but it really hit the spot. Something like that? Or some curry, hmm, now that I'm thinking about it. How do you feel about curry ramen, Lockon?

The clothing stores here are sub-par, I had so much trouble finding a dress for Rei. So Misato! Who are you hoping will show up, huh?
