A couple days ago I was messing with one of Shinra's new machina and he told me not to play around with it because it was dangerous but hey, I can build machina just as good as he can so I really didn't see the point but I woke up this morning not in Spira and that's the only dumb thing I've done lately so that's gotta be why I'm here.

Well ... No, I don't think so. People from "fictional" worlds have been showing up quite frequently. They have a machine here that "grabs" people from their own worlds and brings them here.
