I spent a lot of time with Simca! But I don't know if you'd like what we do together.

Yeah! We could do your hair, Toph.

I can't wait! We can do it tomorrow.

I make pies. I find it very soothing. If you'd like to learn how to bake, I'd be happy to teach you.

I also bring the dead back to life with my finger, but I'm not sure I could teach that.

I'm not sure. I was just born with the ability to do it. I heard someone say that you can control rock? I guess similar to that, maybe? Except I control...you know. Life.

Well when you put it that way it just sounds creepy. Which I guess it is. But yes, that's probably a pretty good term for it. I just touch dead things and they come back to life. But there are rules about it and stuff. I'm sure there are rules about your earthbending, aren't there?

That's how I feel about my "life bending." It can be used for bad things, but if you think about it, how many of us wish we could have "just one more minute" with someone who has recently passed away to say our goodbyes? Or, for instance, back in my old life, I used it to help solve murders. Those are good things, aren't they?

But I guess that a gift can be either good or bad and it's up to the person who has the gift to decide how to use it. Along with the ever-present Rules, of course. Heh.
