Log 11:

I haven't seen the sun rise in a long time.

I miss it too. I'd love to grow flowers, I wonder if it's even possible!

I guess it's something they got use to.. Don't let it get you down!

Maybe we'll see it again, someday.

I'm sorry. I wish they could do something about it.

It is weird not seeing the sun!

[identity profile] rosyaura.livejournal.com 2008-01-14 03:11 am (UTC)(link)
Your firebending, right?

I.. I'm really sorry, Zuko.

I saw a picture of a sunset the other day... I'd forgotten how beautiful it could be...

Neither do I.

Perhaps one day we will all see the sun again. We have to have hope!

I don't miss it as much as I'd thought I would. It surprised me.

I'm sorry! You know it's still there, though, even if you can't see it.

Hm, really? was sad not to be able to see the sky when I first got here, but once I realized it was still there, just hidden, I felt a lot better about it.

That's a very existential way to think about things, Mister.

Hmm... how about in terms of the possibilities presented within the dome itself? It isn't much, but I suspect we all appreciate something of a new start.

Well, I don't think it's just being given to us, necessarily! What we've been given is a situation in which we can change if we want to; if you take the steps to or not is entirely up to you. I don't know if you came here alone or with other people or what, but just because we're all here in this new environment doesn't mean that people's hearts will change along with it. That's where we're on our own, I think.

...Ah, but now I'm going on. Sorry~

What a thrilling entry, brother.

Yes and I suppose you think that is painfully most apparent in entries like this.

I always liked sunsets better than sunrises. They meant the day was over and it was time to relax and unwind.

I suppose it would depend on if one had decent beginnings or not.

The moon always reminds me of stories my mom used to tell me when I was little. I'm not much fond of it, either.
