Book 1, Part 5

I figured since Dean's doing all the cooking, that I should do the shopping. I saw a shopping list posted here, and it reminded me that our refrigerator's a little empty. I thought I'd get some eggs and some vegetables. Naminé mentioned cookies, and I thought that I hadn't had those in a long time.

Lots of people have been showing up asking the same questions; but I guess that's what happens when you keep pulling people through worlds and into a new one. I've been to a lot of places, but none like this. You think that they'd have pulled enough people to fill up this dome, but they keep telling people to breed and keep pulling people from different places without caring what they were doing. It's sorta selfish if you ask me, who says that their world's more important than anyone else's?

I only got a small break before my next class, but at least I'll remember to go shopping after school now. We need eggs, bread, Coke, and some of those frozen dinners.

Log 15: School

I still don't get school here. I went to school already, why do I have to keep going?

Soon, it will be spring. March 20th will mark the first day, when day and night are both equal in terms of day to night. Unfortunately it's rather difficult to observe the change through artificial lighting and filtered air. I will miss, most of all, walking outside and bearing witness to the budding of the leaves and the blooming of the flowers. It's done here as well, but it's lifeless through human touch, something that I usually find myself admiring. The beauty of nature comes in many forms, and untouched it is flawless. There's nothing quite like it, and I find a part of myself, even in the company of my own plants, yearning to take walks and watching the natural world change around me.

Things have quieted down, and I still wonder if it's a blessing or a curse. It will give me time to spend with the old piano at the college, as well as time to spend with Miss Nia. Just like my own world, there are many classic books that seem hard to come by; ones I've read from my childhood that I would like to read with different perspective, books that I would like to share with others, and those that I haven't had the honor of reading as of yet. It's quite difficult to keep up with hobbies in this world, even moreso than it was in my own. It's a shame, as it becomes easier to become bored and harder to become relaxed. Perhaps sitting at the piano will unlock a world that has been out of my reach since I arrived. I can only hope.

It's interesting how posting seems to come in waves, isn't it? On Saturday there was only one entry. Sunday and Monday were slow, too. It gained momentum on Tuesday and Wednesday, and now today looks like it's going to be fairly busy as well. It's the same thing when people come in.

I suppose it's human nature, to want to do something when other people are doing it?
