Yeah, this is great. Now I'm actually having dialogue with a computer screen because Cordelia is mad at me. This was a lot easier when there were more people here on my side. It's not like I can show up at Buffy's place and tell her about everything with Cordelia. "She's not like a cookie but ..." That'll go over real well. This time, I'd be the one tossed out a window.
You know, I always wondered what how different it might have been if Buffy had been able to work at my side throughout a lot of that. And you know, maybe that was stupid, but I thought for a moment that it could work out. Buffy's here, she can be the slayer, Cordelia's here, and she can ... have some visions.
Who am I kidding? I can't even spend too much time in a room with either of them without worrying about unleashing Angelus upon this place again. I don't know how this is going to work. Both of them in the same place, and I have to keep my distance. Buffy's still ... baking and ... apparently, it was too late for Cordelia. And you know what, they're right. They both have a right to bake and move on all that they want; I'm the vampire with a soul. There's not much I can do about it with either of them.
The funny thing is, it's almost like I get to be normal here. Walk around during the day time, get to know some people, but the whole inter-dimensional thing doesn't change what you are. I've been through that before, only they're saying there isn't a way back.
