So, it's been asked a few times. What's being done about the disappearances? I've dealt with inter-dimensional stuff before, but the recent reappearances don't cover it how I know it. But it's not too far off the mark. Time shifts differently, and I've got a few theories about that, but I'm not too sure. Anyway, the point is, Angel Investigations is on it. Wondering about a friend? Worried that they might not come back? We're definitely working as hard as we can to figure this one out. That might not help you much, but we're the only team around here that specializes in the supernatural.

All the same, we'd be interested in some help on this assignment. The library here doesn't have the sort of books we'd be using for this. Do you have any knowledge about this? Become a part of the team, it's all for a common cause. As I said, I've got some theories, but I'm a little dry when it comes to the books. Just come by Angel Investigations if you've got some stored up in your head. We could really use it.

Either way, we might just be working out a way to figure out the portal's logic. That's not a bad idea, either, is it?

It's probably not surprising, but stuff is happening again. It's the same issue as before, but we've got to be on it. I know this isn't the safest means of communication, but we have to do with what we have.

Ema and Dana, I haven't been able to find anything on what is going on with the bird and the colors. If you could try to look that up, I'd appreciate it. We need some kind of lead on this. There's more, too, but I'll brief you when you come into the office.

I'm going to go do some surveilance. Checking out things, trying to figure out where stuff is happening, who is causing it, and if it really is supernatural. Right now, it looks that way. I know the cops are on this, but this is something we specialize in. We're not going to let people keep getting hurt.

I figure it's a little obvious, but I tried speaking to the police and they won't give us any information. I tried getting a special connection to their database, but that doesn't seem like the way to go. After the incident with the computer being accessed ... or network, forgive me if I'm not too sure about how all this works, I'm not too fond of the idea of communicating over these. But I figured it'd be better to follow-up here.

We'll need to talk about some level of security tomorrow. Nue, I'll need to know how much you know about this network. Do you think you could crack it yourself? And if so, do you have a way of making it more secure? I'd like to dream of getting into that database, but I'd rather stay within the lines of the law at the moment. No one got in trouble for accessing Petrelli's journal, so I figure that whatever we do in that area will be fine—as long as no one gets hurt.

Everyone else, keep trying to research the bird symbol that Cordelia told us about. I think it might be our only lead right now.

After what you did to Buffy and her friends, you're lucky you have a second chance. I suggest you use it wisely and don't continue how you've been. I don't care what your reasoning is. The way things are going right now, everything looks like it will be pretty clear. Don't threaten or lay a hand on Cordelia or I won't be spouting off warnings anymore, and I have a feeling Buffy's just looking for a reason to take care of you.

Don't give us one.

Mears threatened Cordelia. I'm sure you're not surprised, but I'm not letting this guy continue like this.

I think you're a pretty good guy, Jonathan, but I don't like what I'm hearing. Most of it's stuff I don't care about, but the moment I find out my best friend's being threatened, I figure I need to talk to you about it. I don't want to make you personally responsible, but it sounds like you and your friends need to work out something and Cordelia's not the direct cause. I don't know why you're friends with a guy like Mears, but we all have our reasons for doing things. That's not what I'm here to question.

What I'm hear to question is the threats and how Cordelia's trying to fix things with your friends and failing. I know how they think she is, and I'm not okay with that. If you're her friend, I think you need to deal with your friends and I'll deal with mine. She says you can't fix things, but when threats are being thrown around, you need to stand up for yourself.

As I said, you're a good guy. I can't make any promises to you regarding Mears if this gets worse, and he knows that I'm not too fond of what's going on. But Cordelia's my concern, and you need to worry about yours—especially regarding Andrew.

I've been thinking about opening a business. I ran an investigative agency back home, and then a law firm, and I can't see myself stocking food at Babylon Mart. Is there anything that you think a guy like me could undertake? I'm a several hundred year old vampire. I'm sure I've got enough skills for something. I mean, hey, I can even cook!

It's interesting that everyone talks over these, but I was never much of a "write my feelings out" type of guy.
