People keep disappearin', wonder who'll be gone next...

And I thought that college was bad the first time. At least I don't have to take anything that isn't related to science this time. One more writing class and I would have started throwing snacks in protest. I'm sure it would have been effective.

We're running out of those guacamole flavored chips, by the way.

To know of one's future mistakes is not to avoid them, it would seem.

I will return, Kaoru-dono. I swear it.

...to hope something goes wrong soon, like the zombies? I mean, I don't want anyone to get hurt, but after years of having someone repeatedly try to kill me or beat me up, I admit I kind of miss it.

It's been a while, but I finally managed to find a job. Me and Tear were looking for one for a while, but now that she's gone, I figured it would be best if I still tried to get one. It's too bad that she's not hear to see, but at least it's something! I'm going to be working at the Italian restaurant. It's called the Der Garten Oliven. The owner's worried that he doesn't get a lot of business, so he's hoping that people will come and help him change the business. I don't know how much I can help, but I'm going to try.

It's weird getting a job like this, but I suppose it isn't so different from pushing boxes for gald or items that we really need! I need the money I can get here, so I'm definitely going to try.

Oh, and the owner said he was hiring, so if you're looking for a job, it's worth a shot! I hope that I can see some other faces there from our part of town.

So the art history classes at Babylon U completely suck. I can't tell if it's because they just don't know or they just don't care.

Either way, it sucks. I think they're trying to frustrate me into becoming a productive member of society, or something. Haha, no.

Yahiko-kun, have you seen Himura-san around?

Since it's Gokudera's birthday tomorrow, I think we should throw him a party!

Tsuna, do you think you could get him to come to my apartment about an hour and a half after school gets out? But not earlier, I need time to get the food done. And if everybody else could get there a little before that, so we can surprise him when he comes in!

After Babylon's first sequential bout of successful trials, the activity in the judicial branch of the government seems to have quieted momentarily. I have no doubt that the truth is what was uncovered during the time I first arrived. Thus, I believe that those who were accused were rightfully innocent.

As the police department distracts itself with the recent disappearances, and the government continues its futile attempts to make us breed, I will take this time as a short holiday. If my clients find it proper, I would like to catch up with whoever is willing.

Miss Fujioka, I apologize for the lack of work I've been able to give you. Let's hope that this place stays this peaceful. It almost makes me wonder if you should pursue a different profession.

Sa-chan's been a lot better since she got a scratching post! She's been leaving the furniture alone even when I'm at school so I think she's trained now.

Maybe I should make one for myself.

CINCO

CINCO DOLARES

CINCO DOLARES POR UN...SONG

Okay, okay, so I obviously suck at Spanish. But anyway!

I noticed that there was a sad lack of readily affordable singing telegrams in Babylon. In the pioneering and innovative, look-to-the-future spirit characteristic of my race, of course I had to fix this.

So if you've ever wanted to tell somebody just how much you love them (or hate them, I'm not under any delusions about the quality of our music here), the Sombrero Sentai are here to help. For a few bucks, you YES YOU can send a customizable mariachi singing telegram to anyone in Babylon.

Drop me a filtered comment here, filter a post at me later, or use the handy order form located by the cash register in Rule 42.

Anyone else already bored by school?

They should at least try to make it a little interesting.

Man, I wish—... actually, I'm not too sure what I wish, but there's gotta be something better than this. Right?

Aya's still ...

And Axel still hasn't gotten back here. Where's your promise, Axel? I'm not about to tell anyone I miss you.

Even if I do.

Right back to normal, huh?

I can't say I mind it.

So, anyone else curious about when things are bound to fuck up next? It's been too long since this place screwed with us somehow. I'm waiting for the next breeding fad. Now that Yuuko's back, it seems I might actually take advantage of it a few hundred times, too.

Since the topic came up, I might as well make this little public service announcement now.

I know there's some bizzare human compulsion to grope the bellies of mommies-to-be. A desire to feel connected to the whole miracle of life or whatever. However, anyone who attempts to touch me without asking for and receiving my express permission will not be getting their limb back intact. Or at all. And then you'll get to savor the experience of physical therapy with the charming and personable Dr. Cox for months and months and months and months.

Hmm, I think that about covers it.  Now back to your regularly scheduled boredom!

What do you guys miss most from home? It's a simple question for a simple guy, really. I'm just curious.

I'm pretty sure I can guess yours, Claire.
