I've been spending the last week trying to find a way not to go to school, but they aren't having it. I've tried to explain that I'm done with it, but I guess they don't really understand that different worlds expect different things. I guess I was hoping that my magic excuse might work, but all they offered was a "special" program. Yeah, that's really what I want. Thanks.

They said I just have to go to school until I'm eighteen, but I'm not sure what I'll do after that. I always thought I'd become an Auror, but I don't think there's much need for one of those here. But I reckon I still have a few more months until I have to worry about that, anyway. I tried to lie about my birthday, but it seems a lot of people know about my birthday here.

I always thought it was weird that most of the wizarding world knew about me, but I'm still getting used to the entire world having known my name. It's still disturbing that all this happened here, and they still have all these copies of the books about my life.

Here's a good way to not go to school — don't go to school. It works like a charm.
