When I was cooking dinner tonight, I dropped a plate.

One of them whispered in my ear. So I stood there, quietly, holding my hands to my ears so I could hear all of them and what they were saying. Since I've been here, I haven't been able to hear or see any Spirits, and I thought it was just because I lost my Powers, because Souichirou-sama wasn't here... but now I think... It could be because there were no Spirits.

Now I can hear them everywhere, even in my bed, when I was laying down. Even when I pulled my covers over my head. Maybe it was dulled last time because I was so used to it...

Ah, it's Saturday night, and I have tomorrow off. I feel like I should be doing something. Mm, it also feels like it's been a while since I haven't had anything to do. My homework's done, the notes that Petrelli-san wanted typed are ready, and I finished all the laundry... Maybe I should just take a bath and relax.

I didn't know that's what they were. I can't place them or anything. They just smell different, and I thought it was strange, so I thought to myself, I bet Aya-san knows what that is!

They just showed up, right? Do you know why?

Yes, unless something else happened to make them appear. Yuuko-san said that there was a large flood of Spirits that came through the portal. She mentioned the path that hitsuzen has set for us.

That's an interesting theory! Our destinies are linked together, at any rate, so I can't see why our powers wouldn't be somewhat linked as well. Has your eye been working better, then?

Mm, it worked even better when Souichirou-sama was here. I think, in some ways, the Red Feathers have always been close by.

I think it's "Fate" or "Destiny," though I don't know if it's the same as it is in our world. It's something I can usually see, if it's the same mistakes we make over and over, or if it's some higher power setting something before us. I don't quite understand what she meant, myself...
