I would like to take a moment to publicly apologise to Cordelia Chase for the events of Valentine's Day and her resulting injuries. I am recieving counselling and guidance and I hope that you will believe me when I say I never intend for that to happen again.

Public apology, psychiatric sessions, community service and a final hearing at a later date. On the upside, I'm not imprisoned anymore, or at least not in the literal sense.

How were they? The government fuckers. How did they treat you.

Alive, yeah. A couple broken fingers and a few new scars and I think my eye is still black, but alive. It's been loads of fun, let me tell you. I kept training as much as I could without you around. Shredded every medical and hotel bill that came to your apartment, but they just keep showing up. Apologized to Cordelia, so it's good that we think along the same lines. A couple of people have tried to stage an intervention or some shit. Petrelli is in power.

There was a policeman, new man, kept a suspiciously close eye on me but they didn't lock me in a cellar, chain me, beat me or starve me so it was better than most prisons I've been to. Boring. I had a lot of time to think.

I'm paying the bills, which will require a job, which I suspect is going to be difficult given my newly aquired criminal record but nevertheless.

That last bit, at least, I knew. Lyra came to see me at some point, just briefly, and I quizzed a few guards. From what I hear he stepped up and took it and the only resistance is some mild grumbling. The non-fictionals seem to think he's amazing. Announcing oneself as a leader is a sound move, and he's backed well, but he's been greedy. Pushed for too much too fast. Someone came to 'register' my 'powers' - not that I have any. If he has that much authority over Babylon already... well, it's likely this could develop into a dictatorship, in which case a revolution is inevitable.

Yeah, I tried to go with Lyra the first time. Didn't really work. I was too loud about it. The rebellion movement is such bullshit. It's not even a movement. It's sickening. They aren't doing anything about it, just complaining. We could fix this.

Tests, poetry, politics. Everything.

I didn't get paid a lot at my previous occupation. I was considering investigating how they manufacture their raw materials — if at all. Such a small place, trading is hardly required. Still, liberation of goods is essentially what I'm trained in.

Give it time. I want to wait until people are unhappier with Petrelli; and less uneasy around us. Heads low, eyes sharp.

No, I know. I've been doing that, more or less. Aside from the fighting with Mears and Akira, but that's just for lack of anything better to do. And the guy who threw me out a window. And I may have punched a couple cops. But mostly the whole laying low thing, which is shit, let me tell you. I figured, though. Best course of action. Petrelli will fuck himself over eventually. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

What are you doing today? I think I'm going to skip school. There's a lot more I need to tell you.
