Out of curiosity, is there anyone around here who is particularly advanced in... cybernetics, I guess?

I've worked with it, but I'm not sure if my experience with it would line up with what you're looking for. It's a big field.

My issue is I have gauntlets which keep my abilities in check. They need maintenance sometimes, and I can't do a hell of a lot for them outside of cleaning.

I can't make any promises, but I may be able to help you with that. I'd be glad to take a look and see how much I can do, if you'd like.
