Does anyone know what has become of the contents of Rule 42 since the proprietors disappeared? I'm thinking of doing some research and that would seem to be the place for the materials I need.

Although our relationship never advanced significantly beyond our first evening together, I find myself missing Shawn, who provided a certain much-needed levity. We have made little progress in our investigation of the disappearances. I cannot help fearing that these people are simply dead, their bodies disposed of in secret. I cannot but wonder who will be next.

A part of me, however, wants to believe (and yes, I do recognize the irony in this) that they have found their way home, and that I may yet do so, as well. Perhaps there is more good than harm in keeping hope alive.

For a minute, I was worried you you were planning an armed robbery of Nerds R' Us. That I would have had to decline.

But yes, target practice does sound like fun. And God knows it's important to stay sharp, even here. I should probably bring the whip along too... been focused more on the kung fu as of late.

It might also be a good idea to touch base with the police department first to make sure there aren't any prohibitions on shooting in the dome.

It's not a joke, it's a statement of fact.

The two things are more or less unrelated; I've been feeling curious about the show, and I've missed shooting. And it may be that after I've seen an episode or two I'll feel the need for some catharsis, but it's hard for me to predict exactly how I'll react. If I even go through with it.

Guessing you probably want to watch alone, but if you'd prefer someone else there, just let me know. Personally, I wouldn't want to relive anything, but that's me and my life. Moot point anyway. Seems none of my comics survived.
