I always used to think of what the future was like when I was younger, but that was a long time ago and I think you could say that a lot has changed since then. My parents and I always thought about world peace. We went to rallies for it, and all that. This is a little different, isn't it? Or a lot different ...

Anyway, my name is Karolina! I just arrived today, and I guess I start school tomorrow. Wow, it's been a while since I've gone to school, and like ... I don't know if I can do it, but I'll get back into the swing of things. It's so different here.

The school I went to was a lot different than this one... Not going to school for a while would make it difficult too. There are a lot of people who went to different schools, and some that went to none at all. We're all adjusting.

There seems like there's a lot of kids here too on their own, so it might even be easier here for that.
