I always used to think of what the future was like when I was younger, but that was a long time ago and I think you could say that a lot has changed since then. My parents and I always thought about world peace. We went to rallies for it, and all that. This is a little different, isn't it? Or a lot different ...

I bet a lot of people say things like this, don't they?

Anyway, my name is Karolina! I just arrived today, and I guess I start school tomorrow. Wow, it's been a while since I've gone to school, and like ... I don't know if I can do it, but I'll get back into the swing of things. It's so different here.

Oh, um, I think I have a roommate, too. His name is Mason? Er, hi?

No. :/ It doesn't look like it. But they should be here soon. Nothing's kept us apart for long.

True that! Plus we only just got here, bet they'll show up soon. This word sounds pretty twisted, we might end up needing them, especially if our parents' club or something like it is still around.

It's always the two of us meeting up first, though, isn't it? We just have to wait together for them.

There seems like there's a lot of kids here too on their own, so it might even be easier here for that.
