I was actually thinking about getting a dog, but I was afraid my old roommate would eat it.

Oh, I was actually talking about me and Gus.

But hey, a dog! I always wanted one of those when I was growing up. Not to eat, but to love and play with. Also, I'm an expert doghouse-builder.

How do you get to be an expert doghouse-builder without ever actually having a dog?

My father being a crazy person has something to do with it.
