So Tanabata was pretty cool, and I'm totally in support of any and all future efforts to do that kind of thing on other holidays. I've never been to one of those before, unless you count that one time the 17th and I were chasing down a couple Mavericks in the middle of the festival in Kyoto -- which, for the record, I don't, because there is no such thing as enjoying a holiday when you nearly get a mouthful of superheated plasma and have to explain to your commanding officer exactly why it was in no way your fault that somebody's hoverbike crashed into the goldfish scooping booth.
tl;dr, thanks for exposing me to culture without big explosions, Babylon! Keep this up and maybe I'll forgive you for babysitting week.
