So, it's been asked a few times. What's being done about the disappearances? I've dealt with inter-dimensional stuff before, but the recent reappearances don't cover it how I know it. But it's not too far off the mark. Time shifts differently, and I've got a few theories about that, but I'm not too sure. Anyway, the point is, Angel Investigations is on it. Wondering about a friend? Worried that they might not come back? We're definitely working as hard as we can to figure this one out. That might not help you much, but we're the only team around here that specializes in the supernatural.

All the same, we'd be interested in some help on this assignment. The library here doesn't have the sort of books we'd be using for this. Do you have any knowledge about this? Become a part of the team, it's all for a common cause. As I said, I've got some theories, but I'm a little dry when it comes to the books. Just come by Angel Investigations if you've got some stored up in your head. We could really use it.

Either way, we might just be working out a way to figure out the portal's logic. That's not a bad idea, either, is it?

Actually, I've been trying to remember exactly what I was doing before I left, so that I can recreate the situation. It's just a hypothesis, but I believe something specific might have triggered my transportation through the portal. It's a difficult experiment, since my memory isn't what it used to be, but I also need other points of data to compare it to.

I know it can't necessarily be done for those who have disappeared and have yet to come back, but if you're reading this, and you've gone through the portal to your home and have returned, if you could provide us with information regarding this so that I can compile some data together, it would be a great help. It's fine if you don't remember what you were doing beforehand. If you can figure it out, I'd also like to know how long you were gone for in Babylon time, and how long you were in your regular dimension for. I don't need anything more specific than that.

I actually almost have the write-up about the people who've done 'time jumps' or whatever we're calling it.

If you can start talking to people about exactly when people are going poof, I've 'found' a few reports of the portal unexpectedly activating partially. Not full blown power-on, which could be something?
