That man wanted you dead, Nathan. After Parkman comes in and said you were shot, that man goes off and shoots someone else.

I heard she's okay, that she's going to be okay, but what if that had been you? What if he gets out and it's you next time?

I know, Pete. I didn't take the man seriously, but what Parkman said has been weighing heavily on my mind. I suppose it's the risk a man has to take when he stands up in front of his community to say things people mightn't want to hear. You never know when some John Wilkes Booth wannabe is standing in the crowd.

It won't matter if he gets out, though. I'm going to be there and we'll stop him. If he shoots me, it won't matter.

And I'm sure the cops would keep an eye on him as well. We've got a pretty good force here. But thanks, I'm lucky to have all these people who say they're willing to take a bullet for me. Even if you are invulnerable.
