It's really nothing; I just don't really know what else to put in this journal.

I was fairly far ahead when the attacks occurred, luckily, so now I'm only a little behind. It'll take me a while for me to regain my lead, of course, but it's nothing that I need to shirk work-related responsibilities for, sir. Besides, the office seems to be short on hands.

That's one way of looking at it. It's a full on Monet! From far away, it looks so nice and beautiful. And the you get up close — i.e. my position, with Elle hanging off my shoulder like a demented parrot — and all you can see is a blur of dots and annoyed rage.
