Blah blah blah, I'm another kid who talks like she owns the world and knows everything about it. Here's the deal, Katara. We've all done screwed up things in our lives, and in some way or another, we're all directly or indirectly responsible for someone else's death. Shit happens. That's not the capacity I know Azula in. I'm not saying she's the princess of flower fields and bubble baths, because no one's stupid enough to assume that, but I know her first and foremost as my patient. No one expects you to understand what that's like unless you're a doctor yourself, which would require four years of college and four years of med school, so you'd be at least eight — and you barely look a day over that, so I'm assuming that you are, in fact, not a doctor. Beyond this quaint little committee they've got going on to play their power games in the schoolyard sandbox, she — unlike Rokudo, king of the douches — hasn't carried any of that over into Babylon. That's where the difference lies.

And the best part? It doesn't matter. Whether it's her or her brother or you or Rokudo or Andrew Wells or anyone else, if they end up under my care, then they'll receive the same treatment as anyone else. That's how you get to know your patients — and good god, believe me, you end up hating most of them with all of your heart and soul because they just! won't! die! But there's some that you end up tolerating. Also? You don't see me helping her with anything. I'm actually a little busy keeping the kids that she brings into the hospital well and alive, thanks. So don't assume. Makes an ass, etc. etc.
