It's different having things how they are right now. Everyone's here that matters, except Dad, but anyone who could really hurt the troops seems to be here except Azula and Zuko's father. If Fire Lord Ozai showed up, though, and the fight went on back home, then we could really take down the Fire Nation. I don't know if he'll show up. I was worried about Sokka and Aang showing up, but they came! But if all those people came here ... If they did, the fight might happen here and all these people uninvolved might be hurt.

I don't know what Azula's going to do, but if Zuko's right, she might try and hurt us. She might try to take it out on us because he joined our side. But she might not, because he might just be helping us to get into our plans and know our secrets.

He seems like he wants to learn, though. Aang's welcoming him, but I don't think Sokka will understand for a while. And Toph ... Well, Toph's Toph.

Simca! I'm sorry I haven't been spending as much time with you lately and I hope you don't mind. My friend, Aang, and my brother, Sokka, both showed up. I'd like you to meet them sometime if that's all right! It felt like it'd been forever since I last saw them, and they're both really important to me.

You know, I don't think I approve of the whole school thing. We aren't learning anything useful for our purposes. At least Aang made that noodle-drawing of the Fire Lord when we were in the Fire Nation a few weeks ago.

And I keep hearing weeeeird rumors about Fancy Miss Fire-Pants terrorizing her gym class. Now that the flippy-girl's here too, that's just gonna get worse.

I haven't seen Toph around yet though... wonder where she is?

They think we're doing something useful. They told me that I need to go to see if I can ever be a scientist? I think scientists are inventors here and they try to help people. I told them I could heal and I think it might be important for me.

It's not just rumors! I see it every day. She hasn't really hurt anyone yet, but we don't know if that will change.

She might not use these as often as we do. Everything needs to be read to her through some program anyway.
