Really? But I can't help to think of it that way. It makes it look like she wants to gather lots of people to her to use them for an ulterior purpose.

It doesn't bother me if it is, because my friends were all the same way, and I became so as well. I will freely admit it though, because I don't like misleading people. If there is a motive, it should be stated forthright or there will be misunderstandings.
