everyone's worried about the government, but i can't even care. it's just a few changes and it's not like we have any special abilities. i think simca and spitfire might be a little different, but that's not really an ability. they aren't affected by this at all, and we're more worried about getting the at together. she's been working on them here. it's a little different being here with him and her a lot, and faith isn't coming in and out with that one guy, the one with the ice.

The rose that Aang gave me is starting to die. I liked all of the other ones I got, but I was surprised by his the most. I don't really know what to tell him! I was really surprised about it, and it's what I wanted, but I'm still not certain what to tell him. He might not even have wanted to give it to me! He was probably confused because he just got out of the hospital. Yeah, that was probably it!

I think I'm going to see if I can make it live a little longer. Maybe I can put off talking to him about it until it dies. He probably doesn't want to talk about it, either. I wouldn't blame him!

It's nice that those projects finally ended. Tajima, you weren't a bad partner, but you always looked a little too eager when we were looking at those pictures. I don't really know what to make of that, though our teacher said it was a good thing! I don't really care, but I hope your baseball team gets started. I'll come by and watch sometime if I have a chance!

I've been missing home a lot lately. It happens sometimes, and I think it's just knowing that I might never get to see snow again! Well, snow that I didn't make.

Maybe this sort of thing isn't so bad when your messages aren't too long.

I've been thinking about opening a business. I ran an investigative agency back home, and then a law firm, and I can't see myself stocking food at Babylon Mart. Is there anything that you think a guy like me could undertake? I'm a several hundred year old vampire. I'm sure I've got enough skills for something. I mean, hey, I can even cook!

Not that this is related, but I found your game of Twister, Faith. It was sitting in the erotica aisle. At least they don't pull any punches.

So I know my life is weird. Living in Sunnydale will do that to a person.

But when I get pulled from one freshly adverted apocalypse to a post apocalyptic world and the first thing one of the creepy guys in white coats does after he asked me my name was smile and tell me that they've been expecting me, I get a little freaked out. Very much of the weird.

Someone get with the explaining please. Preferably someone whose name either starts with Buf- or Wil- and ending in -fy or -low.

It's a lot to take in when you get here, isn't it? I think I'm going to miss the sky a lot. Sleeping indoors is going to be strange enough on its own!

I should find a job, but from the way they were talking when I got here, it doesn't sound like dancing and karate are going to be in much demand here. Time to learn something new, I guess?
