Thanks to everyone who sent me roses, my bedside table's looking pretty colorful. Despite one going conspiciously missing. I am actually doing pretty well. K' came to visit, which was cool, and they actually let me walk around the hospital a little now even if I have to have a whole lot of gross stuff wheeled along with me. Valentine's Day day was fun, too. I don't really know what to think about the Cordelia stuff. Mostly I'm just trying to stay positive, even if my hourglass is feeling a little dwindly. I don't really like being used as a political example. I... don't really want people to fight for me at all, but I guess it's not about me anymore.

That's all, I just felt I should give a status update or something.

What you might find most interesting, Andrew Wells, is that this same mafia turned their backs on me when they could be found at fault for the acts I was told to commit. When I was placed into their prison, I escaped so that I could give them retribution for their actions. What I find most interesting here is that for the first time, I walked from a prison without freeing myself from the bonds. You will be interested to know that if I were willing, I could have done the same.

I will not come after you, or your friends, again. You have my word, and after such stories of betrayal, you will understand that my word is not something I turn my back on.
