I wasn't even expecting him to say anything to me.

I knew he was here. I just don't know where he is, or when he arrived. And by the looks of things, he doesn't even have a roommate, so there isn't anyone to ask for a room number. And even though I work for the police, it isn't like I can simply snoop around and say that I'm conducting an investigation. I'm better than that.

The possibilities of where he could be living are extremely limited here, and yet I have no idea where he is. But we're both stuck here. We'll have to run into each other eventually. Or, maybe not. I'm sure he's actively avoiding me and knows exactly where to stay away from.


I'm not looking for Li. I wish he would let me say that much.
