No matter how many scientists say it, I'm just not going to believe it. Technology might be amazing, but machines can't create people with thoughts and memories out of thin air.

But more importantly, were they telling the truth when they said there were really no Mobile Suits here?

You have failed to understand every word, and I believe it's because you do not want to give up your hold on what gave you importance within our ranks. I will lay this out for you, Tieria Erde.

1. Celestial Being does not exist here. Neither do Gundams. Neither does Veda.

2. Veda, therefore, no longer dictates our actions.

3. Do you remember the security situation two-hundred years prior to our performance as Gundam Meisters? That security situation is very much like these computer networks they have now. Most of us could perform an easy hacking job, and if my assumptions are correct, someone could do it. If not the government, then someone else. Perhaps even this man, Graham Acre.

4. I'll paste what I told Allelujah here:

"I guess you haven't really thought it through, have you? These people fight us because we're dangerous entities, coming and stopping their military operations. As much as I hate to say it, they liken us to terrorists. And I believe that was our goal! But Graham here made sure to differentiate us from the latter group—the bunch that Tieria reported on, that killed without mercy and in operations unrelated to stopping war.

I have to say, Allelujah, wouldn't it help if a soldier on their side understood our reasoning? Might help along the process a little bit, after we handle those merciless bastards.

We have our reasons, Allelujah, and we've done everything with the mindset of killing only if necessary. It's warfare with the goal of creating ourselves as the common enemy. If this fellow here thinks we're doing it for the best intentions, with the idea that we will face the prosecution for our crimes—it might put our ideals in a better light.

We each have our reasons, after all, and they aren't so different from why this type of guy wants to stop us."

5. Our chances of returning at this point are slim. Our mission here is based more off our ideals. In order to truly adjust to this world and how we may make our ideals fit into this world, we need to accept that Veda, Celestial Being, and Gundams are gone. If you can't accept that, Tieria, I understand, but you must know why Veda guided us and how we must reform our actions according to the societies.

If this man can see that we aren't just a terrorist group without reason or justification, then our ideals will first start to mesh with this world.

We each have reasons, after all. Yours are slightly different, but in the long run, they are no different from ours.

He'll be able to draw conclusions about us from our previous conversations, so I will not refrain from doing so. It'll make it easier, and he won't have to play guessing games with us. The government's restrictions have put him in a position so he is no longer an officer with any military, but as common as you and me. I don't suppose it will be easy for him to share space with us Meisters.

It's not expected to be easy to adjust here, Tieria, but the only things that make us who we are exists within ourselves. You'll have to remember that.

Nadleeh's Trial program allows me to disable any system linked with Veda. It's the failsafe if any of you went rogue. Trinity was covered under this. So you're wrong, Veda made me its judge.

You pointed a gun at Setsuna outside of our Gundams. You acted on an impulse there, Tieria. I don't think Veda told you to do that, only you felt justified in using Veda for that. I don't think you need Veda to make any kind of decision.
