I've almost been here for two weeks.

I haven't written in a while, but that's because everything's so different. I kept meaning to sit down and write about it, but things kept distracting me. It's nice to be here, though, but I miss being around Guy, Natalia, and even Anise and Jade. I keep wondering if this is all going to turn out to be some dream. I don't think it will, but it's so different here.

I've been around Tear a lot. I thought she might not be here to watch over me when she showed up, but she is. I'm really glad about it. I haven't really had a chance to say anything yet, but I think we're both waiting. I'd ask Guy what he thinks, but he's not here. Maybe I should tell someone here. There's a chance that someone will tell me what to do. Isn't that sort of thing emphasized in this place? I'll try and see if these filters will let me ask a lot of people here.

I haven't mentioned everything with Tear yet. We've gone grocery shopping a lot and I think I know how to do it on my own now. I've been thinking about getting a job, but I don't think I'd be good for anything. It'd be kind of a pain, too, to do something like that. I've never really had to work, but I also was willing to save the world. I haven't asked Tear what she plans on doing, but I think I should. She'll help me out.

This place is so different, though. A lot of people seem a bit uneasy and I don't think very many are happy. It was a little easier helping people back home. With Jade, Guy, and the rest, we were really able to make a change. I don't think I can do that here. The only thing I was really good for is gone. I still have the Key of Lorelei, but it's not the same.

There's a lot more I could say, but I think I'm going to go ask some guys that question.

Well, if y'don't know, then y'should start with somethin' simple! Maybe goin' out to a restaurant for dinner an' pay for her meal! If she likes monsters, she'll probably be the kinda girl who isn't scared of weird food, so you can try somethin' new!

Then again, y'might not wanna be too risky 'cause everything's kinda different from what everybody's used to here. The food doesn't really taste the same!

Might wanna hold off on buyin' her somethin' cute, but since Easter's comin' up...

It dictates slang, yeah? Writing in a place like this, it's incorrect since you're only supposed to shorten words like that when you're writing dialogue for a story.

The Easter Bunny's not REALLY supposed to look like that! Nobody knows what the Easter Bunny looks like 'cause nobody's ever seen 'im!

Easter's a kinda complicated religious thing to explain to somebody who isn't from that kinda world, but it goes like this...

There's two versions of the story. One belongs to pagans and the other belongs to a different religious group!

Among really religious types, there's a period of spiritual preparation for Easter called "Lent" which starts on a Wednesday, called "Ash Wednesday." An' a week before Easter, which takes place on a Sunday, there are days that recall special occasions with the son of God. There's Palm Sunday, Holy Monday, Holy Tuesday, Holy Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, an' Good Friday. Good Friday's kind of a weird day, 'cause there's nothin' good about it. Good Friday's the day that the son of God died on the crucifix on which he was crucified. Holy Saturday's the end of the Holy Week an' Lent. The Sunday after that is Easter, which celebrates his resurrection. Doesn't really have anything to do with bunnies.

I should've figured it was a religious thing. We don't really like religion. I guess you can say we had a bad experience with it, but I bet it's a little different here.

Before I came here, I was a part of a group kind of trying to make it so the world didn't have to follow the religion. We called it the Score, and it was more like a prophecy, I guess.

The bunny comes in with the pagan beliefs the other religious groups adopted! I'm not gonna get too much into details, but back then bunnies were known as one of the most fertile animals an' they were great to serve as the symbol of new life! Spring's kind of the celebration of the rebirth of everything, not just the son of God. Eggs are a symbol of fertility, too, so it's no surprise the Easter Bunny's supposed to bring Easter eggs. Easter eggs are supposed t'be dyed or painted. Seems like in a lot of other worlds some families have some kind'a egg hunt events for the kids on Easter day. Y'know, where y'hide the colored eggs around an' the kids have to go and find 'em? Then there's candy, too! There's things called "Easter baskets" that are full of candy! To the kids and even a lot of adults, I guess Easter is just mostly about eggs and candy.

'Least, that's what I've gathered from some of the books here, 'cause some of that stuff doesn't pertain to where I'm from. I think I'm from a prior time period before the egg huntin' and candy thing got popular.

Sounds fun, though. Hope somethin' like that happens 'round here!

That's why I was askin' if she liked bunnies, 'cause maybe if you go with that girl with the scary bunny picture, somethin'll happen!

Yeah, but you can tell 'er he isn't supposed to look like that, right? He's supposed to be cuter 'n have a basket of eggs~ it'll be like bonding! Or y'could just say it's somethin' to do to take your mind off of... of... ...y'know, whatever it needs to be taken off of!

And it's 'n outside activity -- totally neutral! A good kinda way to gauge how interested she is in you.
