It's not an uncommon occurrence that when one is pulled through the portal into Babylon, not only does a person suffer confusion at the displacement, distress at the revelation that their life as they have known it is a fabrication designed for entertainment purposes, and sadness for the loved ones they have left behind; but there is also an overwhelming sense that they have left business unfinished in the world from whence they came.
