It's the life of being in the mafia, girl.

... It's not like it's any different from our world.

Don't bother complaining.

At this point, I don't think it matters.

Good for you. Have you learned nothing about the way the world works here? We are many, you are few. Even if he's not culpable, you can at least see why we think he would be.

That changes nothing about the fact that he HURTS INNOCENT PEOPLE. Jesus tapdancing Christ the Jew, why does no one blame the insane torturer for being insane and torturing people?

Good to know there's some sanity left in that little head of yours! Keep it up, I'm really impressed by the whole family of you enough as it is.

I'm sorry, Dr. Cox-san. There is the "Truth" and there is "Fate." There are gears lining up that move and turn because of the mistakes that we make, over and over. I ask myself if things are foreordained, or if things turn out the way they do because people make the same mistakes. Either way, we are all looking for that "piece" that will make us complete.

I don't like what Mukuro did before, but accusing him could cause you to follow the same mistakes. Besides, it's not fair to Chrome-san, is it?

Listen up. Doctors? Rarely believe in fate. Atheists? Never believe in fate. And oh, would you look at that! I'm both. Lucky, lucky me. Take your new age blah blah to the new age blah blah-ologist, not me.

This also just in: I hold a grudge. For a damn long time. Don't waste your time.

You can not believe in anything all you want, Dr. Cox, it's still going to be there. Just because you turn your head to the truth doesn't make you right to hold a grudge.

When things like this happen, people usually don't.

Why do you think there's "Fate"? It's because we all make the same mistakes, over and over.

I know it's not very reassuring... but I'm glad I could make you feel better.
