How bad were they? I'm going to assume bad, what with the recent Babylon go boom etc. that's been going on. Look. The chief here's not too big on treating people without insurance or, you know, the ability to pay their medical bills, but he isn't as bad as the guy I worked for back home. I can pull a few strings. And barring that, I think it's important enough where we can go behind his back for a while. Don't tell anyone I'm a nice guy— and by nice I mostly mean vaguely human when it's absolutely necessary. But still. Got appearances to keep up.
But I'll still treat you. It isn't your fault the pirate bastard is an unemployed boozer, too. Makes us employed boozers just look bad.
They were pretty lousy, but nothing I can't handle. I guess I just want to know if there's anything we can do. I mean, Andrew got new teeth and an eye right? Modern medicine! And no prob. If anybody asks, I'd rather perform open heart surgery on myself than walk by your hospital, Cranky Doctor.
This is beyond modern. Transplants are a little different from wackadoo magical brain activity, but I'm still figuring out New and Interesting Things we can do to peoples' bodies here in the post-apocalyptic future wonderland, so who knows! Come by on Sunday. Preferably at night. Also, is that going to be a thing? Because I don't do nicknames when they're for me.
