I was just flying hell for leather against a sky full of wang ba dan niao shi Reavers. That, I remember clearly.

Now I'm planet-side, being told I don't exist, and being given a puppy. Oh, and I can't fly anymore, 'cause we're all stuck inside a fun dome of breathable air.

And it's not that it's not a cute puppy -- thinking of naming her Saffron, actually -- but you know what would be even better than a puppy? An explaination. One that makes sense. One that wasn't cooked up by Alliance scientists who make River look sane.

It's not true, though. We just landed Serenity. I blacked out. Had to be Alliance .... I don't know, gas or drugs like they did on Miranda.
