Here's what I don't get. As of tomorrow, I'll have been here for five months. Five fucking months, but it doesn't matter, we've talked about that. What I don't get is that I've been saying this shit since the night I showed up. We've been saying it since then. Five months of talking about the government and about Petrelli, and maybe our actions have overshadowed our words, but that doesn't change the fact that we've been saying these things longer than they have. It just doesn't sit well with me.
And I guess it's good that there are people who think like us. Not entirely like us, though. But I'm going to Mitsuru's dinner anyway, just to see what they're about. I'd like it if you came, but it's up to you.
People complain about people complaining about the government, and they say that we should do something about it if we don't like it. What pisses me off is that we've been trying to do just that. It's good that people are starting to open their eyes, but the fact is that we're the ones they should listen to.
I don't get it.

There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society where none intrudes,
By the deep Sea, and music in its roar:
I love not Man the less, but Nature more,
From these our interviews, in which I steal
From all I may be, or have been before,
To mingle with the Universe, and feel
What I can ne’er express, yet cannot all conceal.
I got the job. Not a very good one, but still. I'll work my way up. Turns out they hire ex-cons after all. Who knew?
So fucking glad that I dropped out. Honest, every day I find a new reason why the high school isn't any better than the one I came from. Uniforms are bullshit. And the English department's still a sorry state. Neil, Knoxious, Todd, I feel bad for you guys. Don't fall back into routine too quickly, boys.
I think it's to the point where I can pick up my sax. Typing doesn't hurt as much, in any case. Maybe it's time to start writing music again.
Chemicals in the water is nothing. I still think it's too peaceful here. You know what they say about still waters. Something's going to happen. Something is always going to happen.
