it's up to me now? i never wanted it to be this way.

but if ine-sensei could take on the weight of this task as pledge queen, then i know it's something i need to live up to. it's who i am now, i chose it, i should be the best i can be at it!

even though it hurts so much to lose the help and advice of someone who i really respect and who ikki-kun cares about almost more than anyone else.

i can still find a reason to smile in this, because it means even if there's no one underneath him the way there used to be, people are still reaching for the same sky he put in their hearts before babylon took us away from that world and left us inside a cage.

someday there'll be a sky above us again and i'm going to make sure of it. i made a promise: i'll show you what the pledge queen can do with her king standing beside her, simca-san! i'll give you and everyone else the gift of the sky once again.
