Drive-by advice attack! If you get one, don't name it after someone from home because then they show up and the names get confusing. Also if the dog is dumb and the person is, yknow, not-dumb, then it's even a little insulting. But not much because it's so cute and it's not its fault that it drools a lot. Puppies~

Wow, you're a smart one. I figure, I'm only being an awesome fake-baby-mother 'cause I'm bored, and a puppy will make me not bored. Also if I get something that needs a lot of exercise it'll give me something to keep up with during the morning run, I hear retrievers run wicked fast.

Dogs are pretty good for runs, I guess. We have two labs at home and they run laps around me. It's a good thing we had a big yard.

Yeah I never really had a dog? I've wanted one pretty much since I got here, though. Since I was young, actually, though I wasn't a big runner back then. So what's your deal, you got friends here?

Retrievers are a pretty good first-time dog. Friendly, but they demand a lot of attention. If you're getting it for running though that shouldn't be a problem.

Huh, riot, sure. That was some fucked up stuff, there were like, twelve year olds or something getting into the smashing and crashing. But see, whole bunch of people round here like to keep fit. There's a kung fu school, I ran a fighting tournament about a month ago, sometimes there's bad stuff gotta be put down. Guess a lot of people from video games or fighting shows or comic books got pulled through the portal.
