What was the point of this exercise if I am supposed to allow someone to kidnap my charge? How else would a mother act?

I'm no political expert, but I think the point is to show the women of Babylon just how adorable and cute and cuddly babies are! Of course, people forget that they're little humans that need to be cared for and not just cooed over, and that they are, in fact, huge pains in the ass. And then the government didn't seem to take into account that some residents of this wonderful aquarium are, oh I don't know, how shall I put this? Completely batshit insane? Yes! Those were the words I was looking for! Right, completely batshit insane, and then they also forgot that there are equally insane people who want to stop the first insane people from being, you know, cuckoopants, but those insane people aren't doing as much good as they think they are. If everyone could just CALM THE HELL DOWN and TAKE CARE OF THEIR GOD DAMN CHILDREN instead of FIGHTING OVER FUCKING INTERNET JOURNALS, I think this whole project would go smoother than it seems to be right now.
