...why do there have to be computers? If I was going to be teleported to some brave new world, why does it have to be filled with these techy things? My magic doesn't jive with computers...or anything based on microchips. Since I have to use these things, I'll have to learn to keep my magic in check so I don't fry a motherwhatsit. It's straining me right now, though, since I'm not used to it.

So before I fry this terminal I'm on, I thought I'd say hi, since I'm new here. My name is Harry Dresden, private detective, professional wizard and Warden of the White Council...not that that means anything here, I guess. Strange to find out I'm a character in a series of wildly popular books, but nothing should surprise me anymore. I'll admit I miss Chicago, and especially Bob right now. I bet he'd have some answers.

I will say the group of people...and I use the term loosely...here looks colorful, to say the least. Upside is, it's a whole new world of folks I haven't pissed off, killed or blown up yet. Uh oh the goes termin bett crap
