Right, so.

I guess if we're all going to dodge all the zombie business, I may as well bring this up.

They got rid of those things awful quick, didn't they? I mean, there were literally thousands of those creatures, and not only did they manage to cure whoever got bit, there isn't a trace of any of those things left on the street. Well, aside from the damage I mean.

They couldn't have just tossed 'em outside either, not without risking exposing the whole colony to radiation.

It all seems a little suspicious, if you ask me.

There's a considerable amount of space here that's restricted entry, isn't there?

What are you proposing they did with them, then?

Excellent questions. Where do you think they went? I have my own ideas, but I'd like to hear yours first.

The last zombie army I saw was magicked away. I guess I just assumed the same thing happened here.

I can say with near certainty it wasn't magic.

Since I'm near certain no magic was used, I'm going with the portal.

Maybe enough for some means of disposal. Are you familiar with Soylent Green?

Powerful magic could have been used to do what you're suggesting, but I'm not getting any sense of that.

Heh, thanks. Don't get called that too often.

And now I'm going to be stuck wondering just what's in the knockoff food they're giving us.

Calling that stuff "food" is an insult to food everywhere.

The second sentence was more of a joke than anything, but I don't think disposal of them without the portal is a complete impossibility. I don't know the scientific advances here well enough to say if they've developed anything that might, say, radically speed up decomposition, but I wouldn't assume anything too fast.

It didn't seem to take them very long to remove all the zombies.

Assuming it was the portal, that would imply that it has the capacity to move a great many things at once.

How much do you know? This isn't meant to be sarcastic, I'm genuinely curious. I haven't looked into much myself, and I come from a world with a lower level of technology and a higher level of mysticism.
