While I do appreciate the generosity, I am a touch confused about this anonymous delivery of the movie "The Birdcage" to my front door. I don't have a lot of experience, but I believe flowers are a more traditional gift? Besides, though my wife isn't at time of writing present in Babylon, please remember that I am a married man.

The truth is, Max and I's living conditions are making it quite difficult, one might even say nigh on impossible, to watch DVD discs with ease. however I wanted to thank my well-meaning benefactor and I promise I will watch this movie as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, Max and I have almost finished our script! If you want us to change your name, now is the time to let us know — while we are in the all important editing period. We will be accepting people who wish to audition for the part of themselves, though by default the lead role of Yagami Raito is open to anyone. I'm sure I don't have to explain why! Further details regarding audition dates will be posted shortly. Really this is more a journal entry than a factsheet, but I don't think I'm the only one to use these things for that purpose.

whats a script?

Why, miss, a script is a word meaning a lot of things, including handwriting, but I am using it specifically to mean the text which makes up a play or film; it mostly consists of narrative and stage directions, and follows an industry standard format which looks something like:

SHAKESPEARE: Oh golly, I've made by border too small again, better rewrite the entire thing. (he crumples the paper)

As a Producer who has read plenty of amateur scripts, I find that not everyone sticks to this particular standard — but those sort of scripts end up in the garbage, not on the stage.
