Falling in and out of cracks, coming and going as they please, they've no sense of order or decency. Can't catalog someone when he's moving. Got to remember that, write it down in my journal and keep it for future reference. Can't hurt. This place was nice and he's happy here but it's not where we belong. We're spare buttons.

Thought I had the monopoly on growing up too fast. Now I know that's not true.

Of course I do, you know that. I'm happy he can stand on his own now, even running a little shop, but that's no excuse to treat me like a stranger.
