Aside from helping Mason out with his filters, I haven't really been doing much lately. :/ I know, it's summer and I should enjoy it, but like ... I'm from California, and it just doesn't feel right here. I mean, I guess it's nice to be able to go out all the time because we don't have to worry about it being too hot or anything, but ... I don't know. I guess I kind of miss it back home being like that. It was a lot more real, you know?

Anyway, I've been doing a lot of cooking lately to see if I can make any of this stuff taste good. I think I'm getting better at it! It's not like we should be using all those additional seasonings anyway. I heard that in Japan, they never used things like that, so we shouldn't be so needy! I was thinking that like ... if we used barbecues, everything would taste even better, because of the natural flavorings from the smoke. Dad taught me about that when I was younger.

So, right. That's just food for thought!
