I've been through a lot. A lot more than you. I've seen almost all of my friends die. I've seen them change personalities, go through hell, I've quit and come back, and I haven't grown up a damn bit. I get it, but she's gonna come back. That's what they've all done.

We never get happiness where I come from. We're mutants. We get fucked up the ass every which way and none of us can be happy. That's just how it is. We're unwanted and nothing works out, but we keep on living, even as we see our friends fucked up as they go to and from dimensions. Before I came here, I saw a bunch of kids dying and I had to take care of them. Before I came here, I saw my mentor die. Before I came here, everything got fucked up, and it isn't cool. I don't think it's ever worked out right for me.
