Maybe I should have stepped in sooner, and I'm sorry for that too. I'd thought things would be different here, but they aren't, and maybe that's for the best. But it's my responsibility to stop her. I promise after tonight she won't bother you anymore.
crownedgeI haven't lived quietly like this for a long time. Am I getting too relaxed? I keep expecting something awful to happen, like the money to run out. Until then, though, it's very nice.

I don't see him so far, but I've bought some storage space as a makeshift bunker, just in case. I keep dropping off food in the event I have to stay there again. I have to be prepared.
