[Private: Aang, Katara, Toph]

I know that Aang and Katara might trust Zuko, or want to, but somebody has to stay suspicious, and that's going to be me.

Katara, you've even fought Zuko on your own. I know you want to believe he's changed, I do too. But the fact of the matter is that he's the prince of the Fire Nation. Banished or not. The Fire Nation destroyed our family, and they wiped out all of the Air Nomads--Aang's family--too. Whatever his heritage is, whatever changes of heart he tells you he's had, it's going to take a display of real loyalty to Aang to win me over. Until then, I'm on my guard.

All of you mean everything to me, and I just got here and this comes up. It's a little overwhelming for a guy. I mean, his sister nearly killed Aang! Their whole family is nuts, so just... be careful.

If he really IS an ally, he'd be a valuable one. But if he betrays us and any of you get hurt because of it, I'd never forgive myself.
