My first thought upon arriving here was that this was a world that could be freed from the chaos of my home, but I quickly learned I was incorrect in my assumption. There are various ways to look at the trials of this world, but all I see is a place that is waiting for the same chaos to take over. It is a world that is expected. Even if it is not the future of my world, I can see my future becoming like this place. Approach it as you will, and it still appears to be the same.

I have not decided whether to be disappointed at this arrangement, or to try to be optimistic about the possibilities. After all, I may be early enough to keep it from becoming worse.

I believe there are some individuals here that could sway my opinion? You know who you are. I would rather not have to mention your name if you are not ready to speak with me.

And it was not Sora's decision, but he still opened the proverbial Pandora's Box and released that upon the world. Do you truly wish to be his successor in this new world? Even without the Sky Regalia, there is still the possibility for a similar end.

Considering your alliance throughout the years, it is not an unjust comparison. Sora claimed that he was a part of the sky, but only wished to bring pain as long as he had his ending. You may not want that, and you may not want the Sky Regalia, but both justifications were meant to free people.

We have not agreed with one another since that day, Sister.

I thought you, if anyone, would know me better than that. You've changed more then I thought, or maybe, you've stayed the same. The world continues to change, but Kilik remains the same, his heart locked in the top of that Tower in another world. This makes his sister sad, who wishes for nothing but his happiness. Perhaps he will never be happy. Instead, he'll never see the Sky again.

So it seems that it will stay that way.

Even if you wish for happiness, what comes from that happiness? Even helping your Crow has brought pain. It is not so simple to wish for the Sky anymore, and freedom, when there is more to look for. If my heart must be locked inside to give up my freedom and never see the sky, then so be it. At least there will be less of a chance of pain.

We were never meant to be different.

Then you fail to understand my reasoning. I do not believe in unnecessary sacrifices for our selfish freedom. Our freedom has only hurt others.

I fought to stop the spread of Sora's misery. If I could remove the strength of the regalia from the world, perhaps I could stop the sacrifices. I have to use my strength to ensure how things should truly be.

They say the world outside is a wasteland. Our lives would be the sacrifice in order to see the Sky again. And so would everyone else's. There is no way to return to our home. I asked, and they responded, and I accepted. I hoped, but found out that the same potential for pain existed.

It is a folly to hope to show me a Sky that would kill us.
