Sanada-san, Kirijo-san, Junpei-san, Minato-san, you're all going too, right?

And Lyra, are you going to come?

This is a public service announcement for any guys who might end up with a Slayer for a roommate down the line.

Slayers have enhanced strength, speed, and fighting abilities.  We were born (and many of us have been trained) to kill vampires, demons, etc.  If you end up sharing quarters with a Slayer and happen to have the ability transform into or summon some sort of monster, it would be a REALLY GOOD IDEA to explain this to her in detail ASAP so she knows what the deal is.

On the other hand, it would be a REALLY BAD IDEA to, for example, try and demonstrate your ability when she's still half asleep and busy cooking breakfast.  Because when a Slayer turns around and sees a demon-looking thing chilling out right behind her, it's seriously NOT going to end well.

Junpei, I'm really really REALLY sorry about your face.  Are you going to be okay?  Do you know who we should talk about replacing that chair?

First the festival booth and now this.  Can I please start this week over?

I should be happy I should be happy I should be happy I should be happy I shou

I believe in Kurosaki-kun! I have faith that he made it home. I should be glad for him, but some selfish part of me wishes he were still here. I don't blame him for wanting to leave, but
but somehow I keep thinking that maybe if I had done something differently, he would have stayed. I know it's silly of me, and vain, but it's true.

I miss him.

It's okay to be selfish, right?

You're probably wondering why I haven't followed up on this yet. Cordelia and I were just about to work on it when she vanished. It threw me. But I think we'll still be able to do it together. I've seen that the police force and those other guys are working on this, but we need to be absolutely certain this isn't demonic activity. Even if it isn't, dimensional crossing isn't something I'm unfamiliar with. It's not high in my field of expertise, but there may be some sign that it's happening frequently.

I'll be working tonight to try and dig up anything and see what we can look at in the morning. Come in when you guys want. I'll be making omelettes all day.

I'd always wanted to go to Tanabata but never really got the chance until this year.

It was a lot of fun.

I don't like the idea of people disappearing, but I hope that they at least get to return home. I know Captain would rather be on Serenity. It still doesn't make the idea any less unsettling. But I suppose it also means that it's time for me go to back to work — as long as I'm here, I should help. I've been lazy about it.

The festival was a great distraction, though! Thank you to everyone who put it on, I hope we can have more community get-togethers like that.

Ah, Kururu, how's the shop?

So maybe... Tanabata wasn't as extravagant as it usually is at home, but it was still a lot of fun! I knew almost everyone who came, and that's the best kind of Tanabata for me! Thanks to everyone who helped and everyone who came! You all really made it a great festival. Yamamoto-san, your chirashi-sushi was really good!

We'll have to plan something better next year! Things were kind of thrown together at the last minute, but that's what made it great, right? I felt a little bad taking off my yukata... I still wanted to wear it. Did you have fun Oneechan?

No rant today, kids! Just one teeny tiny question.

So, are the recently departed's belongings a free for all?

I must admit I am concerned about the recent departures; though I doubt it's known for sure, the general consensus seems to be that they have returned to their home worlds. If such a thing is possible, the rather open stance we have taken until now could prove detrimental.

Though the only potential worry at this time is the Union pilot, I believe that should any others from our own Earth arrive, giving ourselves away could prove harmful in the long run.

I am aware that we cannot take back the information we have given out so far. Regardless, please be more cautious from here on.
