I'm sorry for not being around very much this week. I was volunteering at the hospital. They know that I can't heal, but they were really overwhelmed with their patients for a couple of days. I assisted wounded citizens during the riot, and it led me to staying at the hospital for a while. I was able to deal with the minor injuries, since I've had first aid training before. The staff seemed grateful.

Have you been up to anything? I've been wanting to ask you if you were thinking of enrolling in the University or not. I'm not even sure, myself. I'm not really a scholar, and they said that the courses are rather intense, so I don't know if I'd be able to keep up. But, on the other hand, I think it'd be beneficial for us to know more about the dome. It's completely different from Auldrant, after all. I've learned a bit in the past week, but I still don't feel comfortable enough.

I've been thinking that it might be a better idea for me to work, despite all of that. I've never had a job, but I don't have a problem with work; it's always been more natural to me than school. We could go look for a job together, if you want.

I don't think I've be very good in school. I was thinking about it, but maybe I should find some kind of job helping people. I thought about the police station, but I'm not sure I trust them. Things keep happening and they aren't doing a lot of good in stopping it. It reminds me a little of Mohs and what he was doing.

I don't know what I can do, though! Sword training doesn't help a lot here.

You're right. They haven't been doing their job very well, though that could be happening for a multitude of reasons. I don't know much about how they work, or any of the people who do work for them, but I don't trust them, either.

I'm sure there's something here that would suit you, or something that you'd want to learn to do. We just have to find it.

I don't think I'd be very good at that line of work, anyway. I bet Guy would be good at it, but I bet he'd try helping out with the machines here if he showed up.

Maybe ... There's not a whole lot that I'm very good at.

You weren't exposed to very many things growing up. I understand. And there are some things that some people are never meant to do, but I'm sure there's something here for you to learn. Even if you're not good at something, you can practice and get better. I think our journey proved that you can, and I believe that you can.

That's what I think, but I'm not here to force you. Whatever you want to do is fine; I'll help you all the same.

Yeah, you're right! I should ask some people about some things they'd teach me how to do. They've helped me out before.

You're right. I haven't spoken with many people since I've arrived, as it is. Now would be a good time for that.
