I've only had this thing for eight hours and it's already died once.

I'm not even doing anything to it. I think it's just sensing my inherent lack of maternal warmth deep down in its little eggy circuts.

A gift or a cleverly disguised social experiment? I think, anyway. Either that or they're trying to slowly drive us all crazy.

Oh. It could be that too. The crazy thing though- definitely happening with or without the alien pet.

That's probably because they've got like twenty other projects ongoing to drive us all crazy. If one fails, the other is bound to succeed!

Yeah.. Whenever you want to go Slayer on them I'm all for letting it just happen. I might not even know about it beforehand! Sounds more like good old fashioned justice than impending evil and doom, if you ask me.
