It's always hard to say with folklore. What little I've managed to find though has mostly just been stuff about ghosts moving things and a bunch of little stuff. Which really isn't what I'm looking for, because grandma's ghost relocating the dishwasher fluid isn't really malicious.

Usually I can see if there are ghosts around... but I haven't "seen" much of anything. It's a little strange, in my opinion. Maybe I need to meditate more, maybe there's something else deeper that I haven't been finding.

Not everything in our world was born on legend, Dean. Some stuff could still exist around here, lurking where no one can see it. These people seem like they don't like to acknowledge trouble.

Because there's no trouble. We can't go looking for the paranormal when there's nothing leaving us signs. No cattle mutilation, no missing people, not even signs of dying crops.

No sense looking for something if it's not there. I say we relax until something shows up and then we'll deal with it when it happens. We've been here for how long? And we haven't seen a single demon pop up and start causing trouble.
